Athletics

The goal of the Athletic Program at St. Mary Catholic Central High School is to contribute to the development of the Christian individual.  We believe that a good athletic program develops young men and women the school and community can be proud to have represent them. This is true not only in competitive events, but also in the classroom and in their contributions to the area.

The Panthers field 9 boys Varsity sports and 9 girls Varsity sports, all with great success.  Each of the Panthers' sports teams provide all students with the opportunity to display their talents and compete at the highest levels of high school athletics.

The sports mascot for SCCS is the Panther and the official team colors are navy blue and Vegas gold. The high school's sports facilities include the "Den", two weight rooms, the Zierolf Field football facility, Dorn Park for baseball and softball, Battery Park tennis courts, and Plum Brook golf course, along with our own wrestling room and the junior high gym and multipurpose room.
